The Philosophy

A DIALOGUE BETWEEN PEOPLE AND PLACE

Bio

Lilly holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, with additional studies at Carnegie Mellon University and the New York School of Interior Design. Her multidisciplinary approach stems from her professional background in global marketing and product development at L’Oréal, and her work in watch and accessory design, where she developed private-label collections for leading fashion brands and retailers. These diverse experiences allow her to view every project through both a creative and a strategic lens.

Outside of her practice, Lilly enjoys annoying her husband and two sons, rooting for the birds and the bees, and overcommitting to her book, food, native plant, lunar, tennis, and cycling clubs.

"Lilly Culture respected our budget and timeline, which was great. We also really appreciated that they did not push their own ‘look’ on us, but were guided by our preferences. They made working with distance no problem at all, finding connections and services in the local area of our home."

— B.H.

"We are very happy with the choices, and have been enjoying our home immensely! The house looks amazing now. It’s not only stylish, but also very comfortable (something I put great value on)."

— P.G.

"The project was completely collaborative and at the end, perfect! My taste and what I wanted weren’t clear to me, but LIlly Culture was able to present me with options and ideas that somehow were exactly what I wanted. They managed to combine warmth and friendship with unparalleled professionalism."

— M.A.

“Nothing beautiful is made alone.”
